K-Pack System Private Limited was promoted initially as a water treatment division of the Zaverchand Group Baroda (Gujarat) in 1987. Starting as the agents for Pielkenrood Vinitex Holland, the original patent holder of the plate packs technology, K-Pack was converted into a full fledged company in 1991 to handle the growing business of water treatment in India. K-Pack was responsible for introducing this technology into India and has within the last ten years emerged as a market leader in its specialized field.K-Pack has built up a strong technology cell for in-house designs and drawings, which translate into quick and efficient responses. All systems are CAD operated and of international standards, and meet stringent quality and acceptability norms of all local and foreign consultants.K-Pack technology includes water and waste water treatment, sewage treatment and other specialized processes, suitable for refineries, petro-chemical, textiles, pharmaceuticals, mining, edible oils, paper and pulp etc., and most systems are based on the use of plate packs for removal of contaminants.Other companies in the group include Flexican Bellows which manufactures Bellows in stainless steel and other alloy materials and are the largest in their field. We have recently launched K-PACK BIO SYSTEMS PVT LTD; to look after business of STP and SBR in India the directors in this venture are Mr Vinay Chipalkatti, Mr Bert Holthuis, & Mr Michiel van der wel.We have also collaborated with NACAH TECH,USA for design and supply of VOC CONTROL SYSTEMS in Refineries & Petrochemicals. Newly Accomplished Projects- Specially designed Oil Water Separator for new International Airport, with flow ranging from 2160 cum/hr to 9684 cum/hr, for DELHI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT LIMITED through L&T Limited, commissioned in March 2010.

Brief History
We started our business operations as an agency division of Zaverchand Group, Baroda, by bringing in Pielkenrood-Vinitex B.V. Holland into India. PV were the original patent holders of Shell for this technology and we introduced these systems into India for the first time. Mr. Holthuis, the Export Manager, was in India continuously over a period of 12 years to develop this market. We also had stationed a technical engineer from PV with us for 6 months to promote these products. The response to our systems was phenomenal. Initially, we imported these packs into India for the first project at Shell refinery in Bombay. But due to the prohibitive import duties, we decided to manufacture locally based on inputs from Holland. At the time of initial days, we collaborated with Pielkenrood-Vinitex B.V. Holland for their plate pack technology. Recently, we have launched ''K-Pack Bio Systems Pvt Ltd''; to look after business of STP and SBR in India. The directors in this venture are- Mr. Vinay Chipalkatti, Mr. Bert Holthuis, Mr. Van Der Wal. With Van Der Wal for Cross Flow systems for recycling water and removal of solids etc.
Subsequently, we collaborated with Nijhuis water for a couple of projects. After this, ''K Pack Systems'' was formed into an individual company. Simultaneously, K Pack Holland was formed by Mr. Holthuis and Mr. Pos in Holland. During this time, technology transfer was complete.
